“It was unanimously decided that we wish to make as valuable a contribution to our community as possible…”

These words were penned on the evening of June 5, 1997 when a small group of dedicated women from Liberty Park established our neighborhood organization, Ladies of Liberty Park.  Over one thousand new homes and ten years later, the current group, Liberty Park Link, continues to uphold that ideal through its accomplishments and support.    

Liberty Park Link promotes a sense of community and good neighborhood relations by fostering friendships, sponsoring family events, and helping to meet the needs of our residents.  Through fund-raising efforts, we are proud to have assisted our local library service, fire department, and needy children.  In addition, we have made park improvements and each year award a college scholarship to a deserving student from our high school.

All residents are invited to our many community events and we hope to see you at one of them soon.  Come out for our popular Pumpkin Patch in the fall, festive Shop & Share in December, or Art in the Park in the spring.  You may also enjoy joining one of our small group activities, through social networks. We need your support to continue the tradition of community service that Liberty Park Link seeks to provide.  We are asking each resident to consider joining whether to simply support the organization financially, or to more generously volunteer your time and talents.  All levels of member involvement are welcome.  At this 10 year mark especially we are seeking fresh new ideas to keep the organization responsive and effective.
